Lady Gaga tries on wedding dress

Controversial pop icon Lady Gaga sparked rumours she could be set to tie the knot with boyfriend Taylor Kinney when she posed for pictures wearing a wedding dress recently.

Snapped in Vera Wang's New York wedding boutique, the Bad Romance songstress looked sensational as she tried on the opulent gowns and a veil with two friends.

Sharing the photograph on her own Little Monsters fan website, Gaga revealed it was actually her best pal who is preparing to say "I do" and the girls were simply wearing the dresses for fun.

While the singer appears to have quashed rumours she could walk down the aisle, speculation about the future of her relationship with the gorgeous Vampire Diaries actor still remains.

The pair, who have been dating on and off since last July, attended his brother's nuptials in Westlake, California, last weekend, while Gaga also posted a shot of the couple frolicking in a swimming pool on Twitter recently.
